Caro Worboys

Caro Worboys was born in Paris in 1961 where she graduated from the Union Centrale of Decorative Arts. She then moved to London and did an MA in screenprinting at Camberwell College of Art followed by an MA in screenprinting.

She started black and white photographic work within the theatre world, women were already her main exhibition theme. Since arriving in London her work centered on families, motherhood and childhood. Her photographs seek to demonstrate the fragility of intimate moments through the effect of transparency and light. Inspired by women, she endeavours to capture the emotional aspect of everyday life.

She currently lives and works in France.
